“Since August, we have been using in our microbiology laboratory, in addition to our accredited analyses, the MICA by diamidex, for the enumeration of Legionella pneumophila using a rapid method.

Here is our feedback in a few lines:
At the first use, we were surprised by the simplicity of the protocol: the program is intuitive and really well explained, with explanatory videos at key moments of the analysis.
The analysis takes place in 2 steps, the first one on the day of the analysis and the second one after 48 hours of incubation. Thus, in 48 hours, we obtain a reliable and precise result for Legionella pneumophila. For this analysis (outside of accreditation) we do not need to wait 10 days and no confirmation is necessary.
As far as traceability is concerned, everything has been designed to have in the software the traceability of each sample and the consumables used.
If necessary, a report can even be issued from MICA.
