Control and detection of the organism at its very early stage of microcolony in the manufacturing process is therefore crucial.

- Alicyclobacillus acidoterrestris is a non-pathogenic bacterium. It is an acid tolerant thermophylic microorganism that produce endospores. It was first isolated from soil.
